Agreement to Terms

By accessing or using TaskBraid, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use the application.

Description of Service

TaskBraid is a free time tracking application provided by Luma21 LLC. The service allows you to track time spent on tasks, add notes, and export your data. All data is stored locally in your browser.

Use of Service

You agree to use TaskBraid only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these terms. You are responsible for:

  • Maintaining the security of your device and browser
  • Any data you input into the application
  • Backing up your data through the export feature

Intellectual Property

TaskBraid and its original content, features, and functionality are owned by Luma21 LLC and are protected by international copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.

Data and Privacy

Your use of TaskBraid is also governed by our Privacy Policy. TaskBraid stores all time tracking data locally on your device. We do not have access to your time tracking data and cannot recover it if lost.

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to collect anonymous, aggregate usage statistics. This service does not use cookies and does not track individual users. See our Privacy Policy for details.

Disclaimer of Warranties

TaskBraid is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not warrant that:

  • The service will be uninterrupted or error-free
  • Data stored locally will be preserved indefinitely
  • The service will meet your specific requirements

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Luma21 LLC shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, including but not limited to loss of data, profits, or business opportunities, arising from your use of TaskBraid.

Data Loss

Since TaskBraid stores data locally in your browser, data may be lost if you:

  • Clear your browser's localStorage or site data
  • Uninstall or reset your browser
  • Use private/incognito browsing mode

We strongly recommend using the export feature regularly to back up your data. Luma21 LLC is not responsible for any data loss.

Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these terms at any time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date. Your continued use of TaskBraid after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.

Termination

You may stop using TaskBraid at any time. Since no account is required and all data is stored locally, simply closing the application or clearing your browser data will effectively terminate your use.

Governing Law

These terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States, without regard to conflict of law principles.
